Brief
Chord9 was asked to provide an ecommerce website that would be easy to update and maintain for Harris & Jones and easy to use for the customer whilst presenting the product range sympathetically. Being a start-up, the website development needed also to be a cost effective exercise.
Solution
DotNetNuke was identified as the ideal solution in this case. A simple, elegant and fast performing skin was developed in order to brand the site according to Harris & Jones’ requirements. The online shop facilities were provided by the comprehensively featured .NetStore module produced by Catalook. This module was chosen because of its extensive functionality and its ability to be customised to match closely with the site’s look and feel.
Since its launch in early 2009, orders have steadily grown and are now received on a daily basis.
