CMS (Church Mission Society)

CMS are a UK based global charity. Formed in 1799, this long established organisation was founded amidst the campaign to abolish slavery. Today CMS is substantial community of workers active in over 50 countries.

CMS relies on donations from a number of sources to fund its international charitable activities.

CMS approached Chord9 to streamline its existing Credit Card donation process and to implement a new process to receive donations via internet Direct Debit.

Chord9 redeveloped the Credit Card donations process, integrating it more closely with the CMS’s DotNetNuke website (www.cms-uk.org). Credit card payments are facilitated by Worldpay (www.worldpay.co.uk).

To take donations via Direct Debit, Chord9 developed a custom application to integrate the online direct debit instruction form (DDI) with CMS’s membership management system. This provides a fully electronic dataflow dovetailing with the client’s existing interface with the BACS payment system.

Stobbarts Ltd

Stobbarts Ltd is a multidiscipline contractor working in the construction, nuclear, decommissioning and facilities management industries. Their clients number among them British Nuclear Group (Sellarfield) and Cumbria County Council.

Chord9 was employed to extend its established visual branding to a newly configured DotNetNuke website (www.stobbarts.net). Using an off-the-shelf skin as the starting point, Chord9 modified the skin to accurately reflect the Stobbarts Ltd brand. Customisation of an off-the-shelf skin provided a time and cost effective solution.

WRG (formerly With)

WRG are a major UK based media and events creative company based in Manchester but with an international reach. WRG were formed from the friendly merger of With and Reflex Communications creating a busy and forward moving creative communications company.

Chord9 was approached to undertake a number of projects including DNN server migrations, consulting on technical issues, custom skin implementations and site creation e.g. www.unichemconvention07.co.uk (a protected corporate site).
