Integrate you database with Google Maps
Many sites feature product searches, store/branch locators, membership directories. Where the supporting database has a geographical element, i.e. an address, Google Maps provides a highly visual and interactive means of searching the database whilst combining the results with a map to that location. The fictional example below allows the user to 'browse by location' and then zoom in to reveal the precise location and view the record details. Worldwide or country specific searches are implemented with equal ease.
