Need a new website?

A website isn't just for Christmas, with a little luck it might last until January!

Way back when...well 1996 to be precise, two marketing managers decided that the web looked like a good bet and, over a bottle of wine or maybe beer, decided to jack in their jobs and form Chord9. Hitching a ride on the bandwagon that was website development as it gathered pace we set out to find customers that required websites and particularly those clients requiring websites that linked into their business databases.

It initially surprised us that even in those relatively early days, the business we won involved redesign and redevelopment of the clients' existing sites. Dang! We're too late we exclaimed but actually we later realised that we'd time it just right. Once a client had experienced owning a website for a period of time, their views on how the site and the services it offered could be improved were so much clearer as a result. On one hand this made Chord9's job easier and on the other we found we were able to work more closely with our clients as both sets of eyes were open to the possibilities that the burgeoning Internet offered.

So why mention this? Well, now that pretty much everyone and their cats have websites, 99% of website development must in fact be redevelopment. We're all doing it. The current nature of the web is one of ever more frequent change and keeping your web presence fresh and up to date is more important now than it has been. In the blink of an eye your competitors can sneak ahead, so don't blink too often. Keep your eyes on your site.

Chord9 has 10 years experience in moving clients and their website forward. Call us now to find out how we can help.
